I decided to follow Kev's example and limited the carbon decal to the top and bottom surfaces of the steering wheel. Also added some to the paddles and display unit. The after market decal set has some truely microscopic parts BigGrin Those numbers on the thumbwheels are insane !!Glare

I've been trying some stuff with the airbrush and decided to put some heat effect on the pipes. Sprayed with metallic silver and then Smoke. Also opened up the ends (very carefully with a dremel tool) and painted flat black

I've tried to put a "fluid level" in the brake reservoirs. A brush coat of Tamiya smoke up to a line and then a light dusting with flat white. The Brembo decals finish it off.BigGrin

No deliveries this year yetConfused but the distributer assures me that SA will get the new stock soon. So it gives a chance to add a few extras like the Carbon decal on the camera mount and black paint inside the cowl. (thanks to kev for the idea)

Hi Martin, thanks for the kind comment.
Like you I'm also awaiting 8 issues. haven't seen anything since last year. I need 55,58,74,77,78,79,80,85.
The models at a point where it can't continue at allGlare.
The distributors tell me that there are four issues in the post (should be with me next week)but the fact that I've received issue 84 and still not 55 & 58 tells me there's a level of confusion somewhere.
If I hear more I'll let you know.
Malc.

At last I'm able to put some of the major assemblies together. It all seems to fit rather well. ( Once I'd found all those "E" type screws from the previous issues !BigGrin )

It really is pathetic the way the local supplier handles this. I've been onto them, back and forth, them making promises, but obviously nothing happening. I'm sure they don't know what they're doing...Angry Angry

Hi Zentie, I'm also getting concerned about the last few issuesAngry My last email to the suppliers has not got a response and previously they were very good. I've only had four issues this year!! I'll post if I get any better news.

Work done on the rear cowl. The wing section is a bit fiddely and it may be better to bond it when it finally gets attached to the flip-ups.
