Pack 21 contains stages 66-69

Stage 66 contains Fuel tank base, battery cover, badge and screws.

For this stage you will need the fuel tank from stage 1, control board from stage 59 and main frame from stage 64.

Line the battery case studs up with the mounting holes and push gently home then fix in place using a 'E' type screw. Next take the badge and line up the pins on the case and push home carefully.

Use a short piece of vinyl tape and put the four hoses from the engine onto it, use a line of super glue on the hoses and then wrap the tape around them. Once the glue is dry trim the hoses so as they fit under the top of the frame. Do the same for the four carburettor cables again making sure they fit under the frame.

Next take the fuel tank base and remove the two excess pieces of plastic then line up the base with the four mounting studs and push gently home. Once the tank base is in position take the control board and line it up with the four mounting holes and fix in place with four type 'G' screws. Now identify the white 5 pin plug, yellow 2 pin and red 2 pin plugs and fit them into the circuit board. Do the same for the five other cables on the other side of the circuit board noting that there are two blue plugs one being a 2 pin the other a 3 pin.

Take the fuel tank and use masking tape at the rear to cover the tank leaving about 2 mm of the central tab showing, carefully file this tab back until it fits on the base without fowling the wires that come through the hole in the frame at this point. Once you are happy with its fit place the tank in position on the frame.

This concludes stage 66, store any assembled parts safely in a bag labeled with the stage number for future use.

Stage 72 contains speedometer cable, Steering bolt, brake hose and black tape.

For this stage you will need the main frame and front forks from stage 70.

Take the front fork assemble and find the hole at the base of the right fork, insert the end of the speedometer cable into this hole. Run the cable up the side of the right fork then across the lower yoke to the left side and line it up with the upper part of the left side green connector wire. Use the piece of black tape provided to fix the speedometer cable to the left green wire outer sheath.

Take the steering bolt and remove the nut, then remove the fuel tank and support the main frame on a block. Offer up the front forks and line them up with the frame and insert the steering bolt through the headstock until it is fully seated then place the nut onto the thread at the base of the yoke. Make sure the nut is only tightened by hand to keep its movement free. Remove the block and use the centre stand to stand the bike on.

Take the three cables from the fork assembly and plug the green ,white and yellow connectors into the last three sockets on the circuit board.

Straighten the cable from the right side of the handle bar and pass it between the upper yoke and the headlight, then pass the cable further down past the horn and then across to the hole at the top front of the engine. Carefully insert the cable end into its mounting hole. Next take the left handlebar cable and again pass it through the upper yoke and down making sure the cable goes around the frame and further down below the engine and along to the hole in the clutch cover. Place the cable end into the hole.

Retrieve the silver brake hose and with the pin end facing away from you bend the other end down towards yourself then insert the bent end into the brake housing on the left fork. Turn the hose upwards making sure it stays in the hole until it is along side the fork. Hold the hose in position and bend it around the inside of the fork and towards the front, then bend the hose down and line it up with the hole in the brake calliper and insert the hose end into the calliper, Adjust the hose until you are happy with its fit. Replace the fuel tank back into its position noting that it will not fit correctly at this stage.

This concludes stage 72, store any assembled parts safely in a bag labeled with the stage number for future use.
