Here are a copule of pics of the cab of my D51.I will add in more weathering once the roof is on, but I figured I would start painting some of the details while access was easy. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Thanks everyone for your kind words. As Tom said the figures come with the kit and there is another figure with a camera (a Japanese trainspotter). The figures are really nice and with some dirt added they will look great.I have finished painting the interior of the cab and will be attaching it to the main body before spraying the body satin black and then weathering.

Added the cab and deflectors, degreased them and now ready for primning i am using automotive epoxy primer and is is fanatastic. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

The tender is almost finished.I just have to fit the handrails on the front, fill it with coal and do some weathering.Cant decide if I should leave the satin finish or apply a flat coat.What do you think? darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Looking good. Keep up the great work! I like the blue seats. I was 50/50 whether to go blue myself.
