I am done up to issue 68. I started my painting on the top hull. It is hard to believe that only 8 more shipments til it will be done. The only glitch I see is that when you attach the upper plates,it doesn't tell you to add the cockpit tube. It will not fit on after the plate is secured. If you screw it in and have to unscrew it later, the self tapping screws might not go back in. I have left the whole part unscrewed for now.

Yea, I would hold off and wait to attach the tube until it tells you how in the instructions. I know some have already done it, but I myself am waiting to do it right just in case. I don't know about the unscrewing. I don't think the instructions would have us attach at this point, only to remove later. They're pretty good about doing things in the correct order and telling us to wait and something will be done at a later time.

Looking good, nice to see it taking shape now. I've not screwed down my tube section either yet. Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin

Really nice work up to this point. The extra lighting does look awesome, I have extra lighting myself to go in.

You are doing a top job with your build - it looks fantastic. Just looked at your ramp video - cool, very cool indeed. Hope the build continues to go well. Happy Modelling

Looks really good, still have mine to do. I have all the lighting and kit to make my own lights, as I did with the red/ mind your head lights, but I want to see how the rear hyper drive lighting unit will sit before putting any lights in the rear underside. Although they look as if they will be elevated from the frame. That aside, it does look brilliant and one enhancement I decided to do some time ago. Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin

It looks amazing. Well done.
Just an observation though -
Would not the weathering streaks and exhaust marks all be parallel, going to the rear as in a rally or F1 car and not sideways, or 'in line' with the radiating panels? On a car or fighter jet, the streaking goes front to back, not across.
The Falcon flies at mega-speed forwards (I would guess) so the streaks etc would all aim straight to the rear.
Not intended in any way as a criticism - an observation intended to be helpful.
A superb model you've built. Amazing.
Roy.

I think the streaks are laser blasts which would be all aimed at the guns. The engines have thrust vectoring so the streaks reflect that.Just made all of that up!!
