Up to stage 50 now. Since last time I've begun closing up the ship down at the keel, planked up to the top gun ports row and built another anchor.

Thanks guys. I've now reached stage 55. I made two more anchors as well as pin rails and bitts. The planking was extended on the keel side. Like others I also started to close up the bow earlier than the instructions predicted.

Thanks everyone. The credit here really must go to Occre and Deagostini for designing this beautiful and so far very well buildable ship. Up to stage 60 now. Since last time I've finished planking the ship up to the very top and have begun closing up the lower section. I've also put in the gang boards... ... and started on building the first ships launch

It looks brilliant. That is a massive amount of planking but you have got it all into place so very well. Hope it all continues to go well. Happy Modelling

The really interesting part will be filling all the holes strategically left so far. It's an interesting approach that's being taken there, but it makes planking way easier than say the bismark was.
