Hello All, Just started the SanFracisco after many months of thinking about it. I wonder if anyone can help me? The edgeing around the decks in mahogany states 5mm but no thickness is given as is the clinker on the bulkheads again shows 5mm but no thickness can anyone clarify Thanks in advance

I assume you refer to Phase 6 "Lining the decks" and the mahogany strips to be put along the edges designated as "deck bratticing strips 25" and "foredeck edging strips 26" respectively. If so you can find the specific material sizes in your parts list in the pack 1 guide. 25 corresponds to 0.6x5x500 mm mahogany strips 26 corresponds to 1.5x3x500 mm mahogany strips

If its instruction 7 lining the bulkheads and upper stern it says use strips 27. These are on the parts list as bulkhead lining x 7 pieces 0.6x5x500 mm mahogany. Does this help you? Happy Modelling

Thank you all for taking the time to help, it's very much apprehended. I purchased the kit in monthly parts and on any of the instructions I downloaded nothing shows the thickness of parts. Again thank you

If you look at page 5 of http://www.model-space.c...e/download/file_id/432/
there's a list which will show dimensions for all the parts you will have received.
