Stage 68. Fuel cap assembled and installed. I wrapped a piece of thick cloth around the pin an this allowed me to push it in with needle pliers without damaging the pin or the cap assembly. Thanks very much! It is a fun build. I am thinking about ordering Pocher Ducati Panigale bike, it looks very nice! The Pocher Panigale is a nice kit but has a couple of issues, namely the screw type used to hold it together, poor instructions and some of the parts could do with a lick of paint.
That said its still a great looking kit and I would certainly have another.

Thanks for your comments, Al. I did read about all the issues with the Panigale kit, will certainly require quite a bit of work. Brad's Scale Auto Works provides a good reference though http://www.scaleautowork...DucatiBuildingTips.html and there is also an excellent detail kit on eBay with correct scale hardware http://www.ebay.com/itm/...2e66:g:udIAAOSwOyJX7eng and supplemental details http://www.ebay.com/itm/...a80e:g:6XkAAOSwxg5XylPP
Anyway, thinking about it. Not a small investment! Completed Building Walter Wolf's Lamborghini Countach LP 500S, Harley Davidson Fat Boy, Suzuki GSX 1300R Hayabusa, Honda CB750. Planning to Build Easy Rider Bike, Valentino Rossi's Yamaha YZR-M1

Stages 71-72. Installed oil hose, attached front fork, brake hose and all remaining electrical wires. I found it easier to install back the gas tank before attaching the front fork. It's still a bit tricky but it was easier than the other way around as the gas tank's upper portion simply wouldn't slide on its base with the front fork already attached. All looking very nice Dave. I am considering doing my own Diary on the Honda, after a long illness, depending on the response from the members of the forum. BUILDING - HONDA CB750 - HAYNES V8 VISIBLE ENGINE

Hi folks, After some prolonged business travel & family vacation in the Caribbean, finally had a chance to continue working on the bike. Pack 23, stage 73. Installed batteries, tested electronics (cool effects)! Fixed the fuel tank after testing. Attached foot rests and side stand. Spring tension caused some tricky moments but got it attached in the end... Finally, I used a spare helmet from HD Fat Boy bike, removed Harley logo and added a dark blue Honda logo. It's not very contrasting so will probably print one in white.
