Cheers everyone got a small problem having difficulty getting the wheel well to fit properly can't get them to look round is there an easy way to do it

This allows the panel to adhere to a flat suface as opposed to a sharp edge and allows the panel to sit in a more circular fashion. The panel its self needs to be formed round a cylinder (Can/aerosol) of 55mm diameter approx. Note: The wheel well diameter is 59 - 60mm and you will have a small gap between the ends of the panel(also shown in stage 71) Hope this helps. hoping to get back on track with the spitfire after been ill all over xmas. but hit a prob the piece in the pics doesnt seem to match the pic of the instructions,ive placed it where it looks right but the 5mm mark on the instructions (black mark on my wing) seems too high for it to look right at the bottom as its above the rivet line but the instructions show it below the rivet line cal attached the following image(s):
