Time for an update.  Lots of sub assemblies now coming together and small parts painted and ready to fit. So decided to have a fit session before the big exterior paint job and see how well this kit comes together and the answer is that it comes together very well. The pics attached do not have any glue applied between the power train, floor section, rear wing or the bit where the driver sits and it all fits very well. The above named parts show just how little I know about F1 cars. I know power train cos my cars got one. Many thanks for all the previous comments, much appreciated. Now this update was going to be the dio, but just lots of little bits painted so will be better when they come together. For now the car is finally glued together, brass etch seat belts, exhaust system also fixed in place. The last few details still to add are the gear shift lever, steering wheel, tyre lettering and a couple of bits when the main body goes on. The main body panels are drying in the body shop as I write this, so getting very near to finished. Will update again soon. A few pics added below of the car as it is now.
