Hi Shipmates Taking a break from Rigging and started to fix the sails to the Yard-arm. Not bad with a needle and thread Terry Benson attached the following image(s): On the bench. Cutty Sark 1869 Built. Mayflower 1609, Endeavor, 1768

As a beginner to modeling I have referenced the manuals and find very difficult to follow so I have made my own methods of doing things. Please look at the photos and let me know what you think and offer advice if possible. 1. Attach rigging to Clump Block 2. Using a clamp set the Clump Blocks at the required distance 3. Coat the yarn with glue turning it into a needle 4. Connect the Blocks together with the yarn 5. Complete by tying go the loose ends I hope this is of interest to you all Thanks. Well Shipmate Now I understand the meaning of "learning the ropes". all the Rigging is complete together with the Stays and Bracing now to raise the sails Onwards and upwards Terry Terry Benson attached the following image(s): On the bench. Cutty Sark 1869 Built. Mayflower 1609, Endeavor, 1768

Looks amazing Terry. They look good when half rigged but like you say as soon as sails start being fitted they transform in to a proper ship. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.
