Hi all as you can see I've finally come to the end of my building of the Yamato. I dicide to crack on with it in stead of doing a bit hear and a bit there. It's certainly not no easy build but I'm no professional model builder eather.I do think some of the build is not necessary meaning to many parts like having three different metals to make the main arial and then to fix these to a small disc not easy. Also the small cranes that fit to the side of the boat.It said to bend these a couple of mm , I tryed this and broke three one after the other. Why oh why they couldn't be made right in the first place I don't no . Trying to bend diecast metal is not easy. Idicided to do the boat with the black deck as all the pictures I've seen up to now have been built with the normal deck so I thought why not be different. Please let me no what you think.
