I am getting to the stage of the instructions were they suggest it might be worth "varnishing" the seats to even out the colour. The instructions seem to show the "Mr Hobby Topcoat" being used. For anyone that has got past this stage of the build could i please ask does this seat varnishing actually make any difference. And if it is carried out is it a gloss or semi-gloss finish that should be used please. Hope someone might be able to advise as last thing i want to do is completely mess up this part of the build when i get to it. Thanks Tony Happy Modelling

I didn't varnish mine, but trimmed them in leather. However, I would be inclined to use a satin finish as the seats as supplied are already too glossy in my opinion...

I wanted to check as the brand being used in the instructions can be order on ebay but with a similar shipping cost to the actual product cost so wanted to make sure i don't waste my money. I saw your build update which is very good but if i dare chop my seat into pieces you can bet money on the fact it will not go back together again :-) so it will have to be the varnish route for me. Thanks again Roy for taking the time to reply to my query. Tony Happy Modelling

Roy Thanks again for your input. Ordered myself up a tin of the semi-gloss finish so hoping when i get to that stage i can get follow the instructions and not mess everything up. Tony Happy Modelling
