Quad Turret Modification Detail... I though that it would be nice to have some of the inner workings of the turret, so after looking at cutaway drawings etc I set out to make up this area. It might not be accurate but I’m happy with the outcome. Once again 1mm plasticard was used and then parts from tank and F1 kits to make up the detail (kitbashing).. Gold was achieved by using some easter egg foil. Spencer Warthog attached the following image(s):

Another update and work continues on the top hull section. A lot more details, scratches, more dents to be added and streaks etc. The back base coat is for when the top coat is applied after then using a small dremmel tool to carefully scratch away the paint making the scratches more realistic rather than using paints. On the original Prop, Black plastic was used on a lot of the model to give the dents and scratches a sense of depth to them. More detail work is being added to the engine area and a section to work on has been made using plasticard. Once again some scratch building will come in to play as was done on the top turret section using cross section books as a reference. Spencer Warthog attached the following image(s):

Here is an update on this build... yes it's been a long time and still a long way to go but getting back into this to get my mojo back.. This is going to be photo heavy I'm afraid but hopefully you can see where this is going and what's involved.. about 99% scratchbuilt.. Warthog attached the following image(s):

Thanks for the encouragement guys To continue with the interior build, the walkway up to the cockpit needed some detail so more scratch building and original pads added.. Spence Warthog attached the following image(s):

That's just mind-boggling. It makes you want to be small enough to actually wander around in there.
