This is the Italeri 1/48 kit







Had some damage in the box, I emailed the company but they would replace fro free and wanted €20 to replace them

Cockpit is plain and simple.

Next was to add detail to the cockpit, for this I used Eduards F14A cockpit designed for the Tamiya version.

To get the aries units to fit I had to place them loose inside the kit while I glued it all together, Then I was able to adjust the kit to allow them to fit.

Those Ares exhaust units make a great difference, and so do the cockpit parts

Junk Pilot all I would say about this kit is research the model if your doing the VF-1 Wolfpack the kit is very basic and is also missing some details

I upgraded the seats.

All parts painted and sealed.







So all I need to do know is add the decals and fit it all together.

So decals added, will seal them and then look at adding some dirt.





I've switched a couple of the decals the walk way on the top of the fuselage these are shown as going inside the intakes which do not have any marking like these, and the ones that where meant to go there looked to small.

I've also added the black strips to show the slits by the gun mounting, these where some black lines I had on a decal sheet in my spare stash plus the area in front of the gun nozzle.
