It takes a brave modeller to decide to go down the route of taking on a scratch build and many of us who try simply fall by the wayside part way through. Scratch building of the highest order is the reason for this months Featured Build selection, with the award going to Trev (tf64) for his dio of Tombstone Arizona..... https://forum.model-spac...amp;m=341066#post341066
Congratulations Trev, very well deserved recognition.... Regards Alan This one strikes near to home for me. My father was a blacksmith. He was tutored by a Quaker blacksmith in the mid 1950’s, and for many years had a working forge at the Wyoming Territorial Prison (the home of Butch Cassidy, for a few years) until his arm gave out. He’s now 84, and still goes out into his forge at the house, and makes things.
This dio is spot on, and when Alan suggested it, I just had to agree!
Great job!!!
Best,
Mark
