Hi Skyfire, Good to see another one on the table. Some nice upgrades available now with more in the pipe line if you follow this link: https://www.partworkupgr...shop?Collection=Titanic
Personally not sure about the 1:200 figures not being period, but at 9mm high - would anyone notice? That said I think the deckchairs, crates and benches look great. They are still working on lifeboat covers. So, looking forward to what your build has to offer. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Skyfire, I love the detail in that engine. Not knowing a lot about this kit, I`m assuming there must be some Missing/Removable panels as it would be a shame to lose detail like that inside the finished model. Keep up the good work. There is an open section,(or removable panel) where the engine room is located. We will see when I get to the relevant part of the hull.

The two sections of the bow have now been joined together and the deck is just sitting in place to see how it looks. Deck has now been moved back to safe storage.

Added another part to the hull. Still have parts to add to the engine. I was able to reduce the gap by tightening some of thge bolts up some more.

If i was still into partworks i would have been very tempted by this one. I still have the “”metal” Bismarck along with the original “wood” version stacked up. Of the 2 i think the metal version is much better. It has its “knockers” mentioning the hull panel joints but its much more ,modeller friendly from what i can see. I guess each to their own but but seeing your titanic i must say it looks very, very nice. Hope the rest of your build goes well. Tony Happy Modelling

Start of the second engine. This one is going together far better than the first one!
