Has anyone ever tried to take their tires off the rims? Getting it on is hard, but getting it off is impossible without damaging them I think.

I can only suggest putting the whole wheel in a tub of near boiling water for about 5 mins. Hold the wheel/tyre in a towel as the metal wheel will be incredibly hot. Once you get part of the tyre over the rim, the rest should come off easily. Fingers crossed (but not burnt!)

Thanks Roy, I tried but it's still rock hard after being in boiled water. Im going to polish the rims without taking the tire off, fingers crossed

I cannot get the tire removed without damaging them. But I found a way to protect the tire while removing the paint and polishing the rim so this is no longer needed.
