That’s what I’ve got as well. It’s pretty intuitive, but you’re right, it’s not cheap.
Do you have a link posted to your shapeways and Etsy shops in the accessories section?

Mark It is such a powerful program and so easy using the Apple Pencil. I do a lot of designing when I’m away at the weekends chilling out, plus an iPad is much more portable that a laptop. Links now posted in the accessories section. Thanks Mark

Finished the Razor Crest console. Just temporarily fitted these in place. Next is the diorama base with desert scene before all the electronics get wired. The Razor Crest itself will be the last to be finished although I’m designing new parts for the interior and lighting effects. And yes, Grogu’s ball on the lever does unscrew. I have started on the base diorama. The main rock formations were made of foam. Sand was then placed around areas to build up rocky parts. I also placed the Razor Crest on the base to draw around the feet so I know where to drill holes for the lighting cables as well plan the scenery. Last couple of pictures are 3D printed parts I did over the weekend, one was the bones of a mythasaurus, aptly named and yes, it is a Star Wars creature, the others were the vaporator and a 1/72 scale Grogu. Looks like I will need by Hubble magnifying glass again when painting him.   Mark Markwarren attached the following image(s):

Oh, this is looking good! Now that I’m back, I need to print some stuff for my own build.
I REALLY like the controls. That’s brilliant stuff.

Thank you Trev. As I am away for a few days this week, I’ve had to give the diorama base a break. So I am working on designing some interior parts, ie crates/cargo parts. One thing that is missing from this kit is the carbon chamber that can be seen when the ramp is open, so I’ve designed this ready to test print. A little sanding of the hull area to fit it, but I think it will certainly make a great addition inside. Mark Markwarren attached the following image(s):

I have now tested the parts after printing them, they just needed a little tweak in the design, but they pretty much fitted. This weekend I have been finishing off my diorama base and gave it a base coat of burnt umber Now waiting for that to dry. I have also printed the pod for Grogu, as you can see it is tiny at 1/72 scale. Just hope the carpet monsters don’t get Grogu, because I’ll never find him again. I have also painted my 1/72 scale vaporator. I need to put this somewhere safe until it is fitted on the base as it is very fragile. Mark Markwarren attached the following image(s):

I have started to paint the diorama base where the Razor Crest will sit. I have painted it all with a burnt umber base coat which made it look like a large lump of chocolate. Because the base is so large I painted the next stage by hand, stippling various coats of lighter sand colour over the base coat, a large soft brush you use for decorating you own house came in handy. Anyway here are some pictures so far, lots more painting to do on the base. The hole you see in one of the pictures is where the cable will go to power the Razor Crest via its front landing leg. I have also designed some greeblies for the internal pillars as these have no detail on the kit as shown, highlighted in red. Mark Markwarren attached the following image(s):

The base is pretty much finished now, just a little sand around the Razor Crest landing feet and around the vaporator at the final assembly. I used lots of different pigments to give it more contrast. Now onto wiring all the electronics inside the base, going to need lots of coffee and concentration for that task. Absolutely beautiful model building Mark. The terrain is very realistic looking, nicely done. Five out of Five!!

Thank you Mark & Trev I am now trying to get the internal parts for this kit to how it should look. You will see some of the detail inside as I will have the side and rear ramps in the open position. Before I wire all the electronics inside the base I have to work out where all the lighting will be and how many wire I will need to conceal in the Razor Crest. The pillar greeblies are now in place and I’ve designed some lighting panels as well. I have also primed the main body ready to give it a gloss black base coat ready for the metallic aluminium coat. Lots more to do. I definitely need my good thinking cap on now I putting this all together.  Mark Markwarren attached the following image(s):
