Issue 15

The Left Foot

Picture 1
shows the contents of this issue.
Retrieve the assembly from issue 14 along with sole part from this issue. Place the sole over the foot as shown in pictures 2 and 3. Fix in place using 5 x CM screws, picture 4.

Now take the toe cap and fit in place using 2 x CM screws as shown in pictures 5 and 6.

Picture 7 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 16

The Left Foot

Picture 1
shows the contents of this issue.

Retrieve the left foot assembly along with the ankle joint washer and spring, picture 2. Place the ankle joint washer over the post on the joint, placing the spring on the post next to the washer as shown in picture 3. Take the ankle joint support and a RM screw, picture 4, placing it over the post and securing it with the RM screw, picture 5.

Note: Check that the joint support can rotate a few degrees either way. This was quite stiff, as the washer grooves embed themselves into the post grooves, in fact mine did not move at all. I Loosened off the screw and move the joint back and forth, making the washer wear down the grooves slightly, before tightening up the screw again. Although it was still quite stiff, it did move either way.

Take the inner left calf and an FM screw, picture 6, and secure it as shown in picture 7.

Picture 8 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 17

The Left Leg Support

Picture 1
shows the contents of this issue.
Insert the thin end of the support through the widest hole in the upper rod clamp and pull the rod through the other end as far as it will go, picture 2. Insert the lower rod clamp onto the rod and secure with an AM screw, picture 3.

Fit the ball mount over the ball joint as shown in picture 4, followed by the other half of the ball mount and secure with 2 x BP screws, picture 5.

Push on the rod clamp cap, picture 6 to finish the assembly.

Picture 7 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 18

The Left Knee Joint

Picture 1
shows the contents of this issue.
Insert the nut and its bracket onto the top joint and fix in place with 2 x SP screws, pictures 2,3 and 4.
Insert the spring over the cylindrical post at the top of the joint, picture 5. Place the gear over the spring, picture 6.

Insert the upper knee joint, picture 7, then fit over the lower knee joint and secure the assembly with 2 x BP screws, picture 8.

Reinforce the assembly with the long bolt as shown in picture 9. Do not over tighten and allow the joint to move freely as shown in picture 10.

Picture 11 shows the completed assembly for this issue.
