Fitting the Fuel Line

Take the fuel line (15B) and push one end onto the pin on the side of the fuel filter as shown in picture 2 and 3.

Preparing the Front Chassis
The front chassis (15A) come with a beam attached to protect it during transportation. Remove the beam from the chassis by removing the two screws that hold it in place, picture 4.

Fitting the Crossmember

Take the front chassis rear frame (16A) and the chassis rear crossmember and connect them together using a GM screw. Pictures 2 and 3.

Fitting the Front Chassis Rear
Take the part you’ve just assembled and fit it to the front chassis with 2 x EM screws as shown in picture 4.

Picture 5 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Installing the Bumper

Take the front left lower suspension arm (17B) and the bumper (17C) and using 2 x AM screws secure the parts together, pictures 2 and 3.

Threading the Screw Holes
Screw two AHM screws in the ends of the two posts as shown in picture 4, and then remove them.

Fitting the Arm to the Crossmember
Use one of the AHM screws to attach the front left lower suspension arm to the crossmember, picture 5.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Installing the Bumper

Take the front right lower suspension arm (18B) and the bumper (18C) and using 2 x AM screws secure the parts together, pictures 2 and 3.

Fitting the Bracket and Crossmember
Screw two AHM screws in the ends of the two posts in the engine mounting bracket (18A) as shown in picture 4, and then remove them.
Use one of the AHM screws to attach the front right lower suspension arm to the crossmember, pictures 5 and 6.
Now secure the engine mounting bracket to the two suspension arms using two AHM screws, picture 7. Picture 8 shows the complete assembly.

Installing the Engine
Secure the front crossmember and engine mounting bracket to the front of the chassis using 4 x CM screws as shown in pictures 9 and 10.

Now take the engine assembly and place it on the chassis parts so that the left and right engine brackets are slotted into the engine mounting bracket. Secure both sides with an AM screw as shown in pictures 11 and 12.

Finally, secure the gearbox section to the front chassis with a CM screw, picture 13.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Fitting the Left and Right Covers

Place the left front and rear covers (19A and 19B) on the chassis and secure each cover with 2 x AM screws as shown in picture 2. Now do the same with the right-side covers (19C and 19D), picture 3.

Fitting the Left and Right Bolts
Using a KP screw, secure the stabiliser link bolt (19G) to the left side bumper, picture 4. Next, fit the right-side stabiliser in the same way using a KP screws, picture 5.

Installing the Stabiliser and Brackets
Place the stabiliser (19E) so the arms at each end can fit around the two stabiliser link bolts, picture 6. Picture 7 shows the stabiliser in place.

Secure the stabiliser by attaching the two stabiliser brackets (19F) to the front chassis as shown in pictures 8 and 9.

Issue 20

Fitting the Arm Balls and Assembling the Upper Suspension Arm

Using 2 x WM screws, attach the lower arm ball (20G) to the bottom of the steering spindle arm (20F) and the upper arm ball (20G) to the top of the steering spindle arm, pictures 2 and 3.

Fit the shaft (20D) to the shock absorber mount (20C) with 2 x CM screws, picture 4. Take the assembly and attach it to the front left upper suspension arm (20E) with 2 x EM screws, picture 5.

Fitting the Shoch Absorber
Insert the shock absorber coil spring (20B) between the front left lower suspension arm and front chassis, picture 6. Insert the shock absorber rod through the centre of the spring from the bottom and securing it with an AIM screw from the top of the chassis, picture 7. Secure the rod at the bottom by using 2 x AM screws, picture 8.

Fitting the Upper Arm
Fit the steering spindle arm to the lower suspension arm with an AIM screw, picture 9. Finally, secure the shock absorber mount to the front chassis using 2 x CM screws, picture 10.

Picture 11 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
