Hi All,
Ok, so pack 8 was delivered yesterday, so lets get on with it.
This pack covers issues 33 - 38.
In this update for issue 33, we complete and fit the "Exposed Facility" (EF) of the "Japanese Experiment Module" (JEM) that we started in issue 32.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the first part of the "EF" from issue 32 and the main model toward the end of this update.
Start by placing part 25J into 25i and fix them together using 2 x AS5 screws, Pic 2.
Now bring the assembly from issue 32 back to the table and add the new parts to it, as shown in Pic 3. Next add part 25N and fix all the parts together using an AS5 screw, Pic 4. Follow up by adding parts 25M, L and K, fixing each in turn with an AS5 screw, Pic 5.
Position the lower plate of the "EF" 25H and fix that in place using 2 x AS5 screws, Pic 6. To finish the "EF" turn it over and press fit the part 25O as in Pic 7.
Bring the main model onto the table and place the "EF" into the end of the "JEM", fixing it in place using 2 x MS4 screws, Pic 8.
That`s all for this update, Pic 9. I`ll see you all soon for the next update.

Hi All,
Back onto the ISS, for the update of Issue 34.
Looks like we are building the Canadarm, but as usual the instructions don`t tell you. The ISS now has two of these arms, that have been used for removing cargo from the bay of a shuttle. They are remotely activated by the astronauts on the Space Station.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1.
Start with parts 22B and 22C and position them as shown in Pic 2. This will give you the correct orientation of the parts, then put the parts together Pic 3 and fix them using an AS5 screw as shown in Pic 4.
Unfortunately that`s all there is for this update, so keep the assembled parts and the unused part safely for now, Pic 5.
Issue 35 coming soon.

Hi All,
I`m back to this Official Build after an extended stay in hospital. Issues 35 - 38 will be posted over the next couple of days as the next pack is in the pipeline and I`m due to return to another hospital in the near future.
So, on with issue 35. In this issue we will construct the Experimental Logistics Module (Pressurized Section) "ELMPS".
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the unused part 23A from issue 34.
Start by pressing the parts 23A and 23B firmly together, Pic 2. Then fix the parts together using 3 x MS4 screws as shown in Pic 3.
Next press the two screw cover panels 23D and 23C in place as shown in Pics 4 and 5 respectively.
That`s all for now, Pic 6. Keep the assembly safe until its required in the next issue, that`s coming soon.

Hi All,
Here we go with the update for issue 36. In this issue we complete the construction of the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM)
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the assembly from issue 35, the robotic arm assembled in issue 34 and the main model on the stand.
Start, by positioning the assembly from issue 35 into the top of part 22D, Pic 2 and secure the parts together using an MS4 screw as shown in Pic 3. Then press the robotic arm (from issue 34) into the end of part 22D, Pic 4. Note: I found this a tight fit so proceed with care.
Now bring the main model to the table and place the parts just assembled onto the lower half of the JEM, Pic 5. Then fix the two halves of the JEM together using 4 x MS4 screws (two each side) as shown in Pics 6 and 7.
That just leaves the four screw cover panels 22E - 22H, to press fit into the upper half of the JEM as indicated in Pics 8 and 9.
That`s all there is for this update, Pics 10 and 11, so I`ll see you soon for the update for issue 37.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the main model on the stand.

That`s it for this update, Pics 5 and 6. See you soon for issue 38, the final update for this pack.

Hi All,
Here we are with the last update for this pack, Issue 38. This is a small update where we add some trim pieces to the model base and add a sticker that I assume was missed out during manufacture.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the main model on the base.
The trim pieces must be added in specific places as at a later stage (coming soon) the base will be extended. So position the three trim pieces as shown in Pic 2.
You have been supplied with two small stickers, although only one is required. It will be very handy if you have another pair of hands available when applying the sticker as it sits underneath the station next to the Cupola. As can be seen, I did not have a second pair of hands available, so the sticker is not exactly straight, Pic 3. I`ll correct this at a later stage, using the spare sticker .
That`s all for this update, Pic 4. I`ll see you soon when the next pack arrives.
