Issue 72

Assembling the Left Foot.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fix the joint of the two halves of the foot shell (72A) and (72B) using 2 x KP screws and 1 x JP screw, pictures 2 and 3.

Fit the foot shell assembly between the inner and outer halves (72C) and (72D) and secure the three pieces tightly together using 2 x BM screws, pictures 4 and 5.

Take a washer and place it on the BBP screw, picture 6. Next fit the pivot mechanism stop (72I) into the bottom pin. Note, it will only fit one way as shown in picture 7. Secure it using the BBP screw and washer, picture 8.

Now connect the outer heel joints (72F) and (72E) with a GP screw, pictures 9 and 10. Fit the joint end (72H) into the hole as shown in picture 11, this will only fit one way.
Now attach the right heel assembly to the foot frame and secure with a BM screw.

Pictures 12 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 73

Assembling the Ion Blaster.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.


Now it’s time to get the big guns out. LOL

Snap in the left cover (73I) as shown in pictures 2 and 3. Take the centre blaster body and snap fit it into the inside of the blaster body and secure with an IP screw, picture 4. Take the half cylinder (73H) and the lower body cover (73G), picture 5 and snap fit into place as shown in picture 6. Fit the cylinder cap in position as shown in picture 7.

Take the two left and right blaster handles (73A and 73B), picture 8 and snap fit these together as shown in picture 9. Give it a good squeeze together to make sure the pins go in all the way as mine were a tight fit.

Finally, fit the muzzle (73F) into the barrel (73E), picture 10.

Pictures 11 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 74

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Fit the right heel (74A) into the heel joint (74C) and secure it with an FP screw, picture 2. Now fit the upper heel joint (74B) into the hole of 74C as shown in picture 3.

Take the assembly from issue 72 and attach this assembly to the foot frame fitting the pin and its two posts into the recess. Note, it will only fit one way, picture 4. Secure it with an IP screw, picture 5.

Issue 75

Assembling the Left Foot.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.


Press fit the stabilizer support cylinder (75F) into the bridge frame (75C) and secure with an SM screw, picture 2. Note that the magazine illustration shows it as an SP rather than the SM screw supplied.

Snap fit the left stabilizer bracket (75D) onto the support cylinder (75E). This will only fit one way, picture 3.

Place the friction disc (75I) in the circular recess on the outer face of the foot assembly with the groves facing upwards, pictures 4 and 5. Place the assembly from the beginning of this issue over the disc, picture 6 and holding it in place turn the assembly over and place the second friction disc over the opposite side frame, picture 7. Now place the other frame (75A) over the disc and secure the parts using an SM screw, picture 8.

Next, fit the post of the stabilizer bracket made earlier in this issue, onto the side of the foot. Note this will only fit one way, picture 9. Turn the assembly over and secure the parts using a washer and an LP screw, picture 10. As you will also see in the picture, the cap that is placed over the screw from an earlier fixing.

Finally, snap the upper bridge guard plate (75B) onto the ball joint on the top of the foot as shown in picture 11.

Pictures 12 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 76 Part 1

Assembling the Ion Blaster.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Snap fit the sight cylinder (76H) into the sight (76D), pictures 2 and 3. Take the core link (76G) and the energy reservoir (76B), picture 4 and attach the two parts using an IP screw as shown in picture 5. Next, take the sight assembly and fix it in place using two PP screws, picture 6. Snap fit the other part of the large energy reservoir (76A) onto the assembly, picture 7. Place the reservoir cap (76J) on the top as shown in picture 8.

That completes part 1 of this assembly.

Issue 76 Part 2

Assembling the Ion Blaster.

Take the assembly from the first part of issue 73 along with the assembly from part 1 of this issue, and attach the two parts using an IP screw, picture 9. Now take the remaining assembly from issue 73 and place it on the flat side of the new assembly and fix with two MP screws, pictures 10 and 11.

Snap together the two halves of the small energy reservoir (76F) and (76E), picture 12, then insert the reservoir cap (76I), picture 13. Note the cap will only fit one way. Place the assembly inside the right side of the core (76C) and secure it in place using an IP screw, picture 14.

Snap this assembly into the blaster body, picture 15 and finally fit the barrel from issue 73 onto the assembly as shown in picture 16.

Pictures 17 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
