I also noticed the belts were rather loose.
I contemplated cutting a small piece out and gluing with cyano but when the engine is attached to the body you can't really see them anyway.
Looking good though. Keep it coming.

Stage 44. Left side timing belt. This side fits much better then the right side. Maybe a shorter belt? I should have compared them before fitting them to see. Anyway that's pack 9 finished. Stage 45. Oil pipe connections They grey pipe (45c) was a little long so I chopped it down a bit. Also be careful when installing pipe 45d and fitting 45e as there are fragile parts involved here. Move the oil cooler so it sits central on the supports or the oil pipes won't connect.

Cheers guys. I just rechecked the instructions and it shows the cooler to be offset and the bands go over the raised sections of the cooler which is what I have done. Stage 52. Oil tank connections. I found when fitting the black pipe to the 2 pronged fitting in the back of the engine that it was easier to remove the fitting from the engine,fit the black pipe to the correct prong and then fit the fitting back on to the engine. There was a danger of the fitting breaking if i didn't do it this way. Also the oil cooler pipes fitted perfectly so the cooler was in the correct position. Stage 54. Left upper rear suspension arm and shock absorber. Where the front of the arm mounts to the gearbox there was a large build up of paint which needed to be removed before it would fit in.
