Issue 06

The Helmet and Chest Panel

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Find the front chest panel from the previous issue and place the red and blue lenses into the holes as shown in picture 2. Note they have notches that enable them to fit only one way as highlighted with red circles.

Repeat with the three lens covers, noting one has a small notch in the corner, picture 3. Place the red lens inserts into the silver lens covers, picture 4.

Picture 5 shows the result of the assembly.

Place the magnet into the mask crown as shown in picture 6. Note: Check the polarity of the magnet to the one in the helmet and make sure it is the right way round and that it is not repelled by the other magnet.

Place the reinforced mask piece on top of the assembly, fitting securely so it does not move, picture 7.

Place the assembly onto the Vader mask, picture 8. Turn the assembly over and secure the crown using the screws provided in this issue, picture 9.

Picture 10 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 07

The Helmet and Chest Panel

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Take Vader’s mask and attach the two central foam pieces inside as shown in pictures 2 and 3.

Next, place the internal nose support into the mask, pushing the pins into the corresponding slots as shown in pictures 4 and 5.

Locate the five internal nose parts and begin adding them in order as shown in pictures 6 to 10.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 08

The Helmet and Chest Panel

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Take the chest panel and attach the left bar as shown in picture 2.

Find the neck protection assembly from the previous issues and fit the left neck connector. This piece snaps into place by inserting the pegs onto their corresponding holes. Next, fit a washer connector and secure it with a D screw, picture 3. Do the same with the other washer on the left hole.

Place the two studs onto the connector as shown in picture 4.

Now place the left eye connector arch into the inner part of the left temple of the mask as shown by the arrows in picture 5. This can be quite tricky to fit.

Finally, attach the nose reinforcement inside the mask, picture 6.

Picture 7 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
