STAGE 52:

Wiring and driver’s sill.

Fit the wires 52C, 52D and 52E together and secure them at 1/3 intervals using 2 x cable ties, parts 52G.
Cut off the excess cable ties.

Fit the wires along the outside edge of the floor on the driver’s side so they pass through the hole under the dashboard.

On the other side of the dashboard, remove one of the screws in the outside wiring tab and fit the wires underneath.
Fix the tab back in place using the removed screw.

Tuck the wires into the footwell area and at the other end, fix them between the two raised posts using the tab, part52B and 1 x AP screw.

Press the handbrake, part 52F into the locating holes on the sill, part 52A and fix from underneath using 1 x AP screw.

Fit the sill in place on the floor and fix from underneath using 3 x FP screws.
Tuck the new wiring down between the handbrake and the driver’s seat.

The printed instructions show the wires between the handbrake and the sill but they will not fit here.

OPTIONAL TIP:
If the cable tie is in the way it can be cut off.
The wires will still be a tight fit and stay in pace.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 53:

Wiring and passenger sill.

Fit the two pipe sections, 53B and 53C together and fix them using 1 x AP screw in the centre.

Fit the assembled pipe along the outside of the passenger side of the floor with the upturned end locating in the hole under the dashboard and the two screw pins fitting in the holes in the floor.
Fix from underneath using 2 x FP screws.

Fit the sill, part 53A in place on the floor and fix from underneath using 3 x FP screws.

Fit the wires 53D, 53E and 53F together and secure them at 1/3 intervals using 2 x cable ties, parts 53G.
Cut off the excess cable ties.

Fit the wires along the outside edge of the floor on the passenger side so they pass through the hole under the dashboard.
Make sure the plug ends of the wires at toward the rear of the car.

On the other side of the dashboard, remove one of the screws in the outside wiring tab and fit the wires underneath.
Fix the tab back in place using the removed screw.

Tuck the wires into the footwell area and fit them alongside the sill and the pipe.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 54A:

Rear bulkhead.

Retrieve the interior assembly and tuck the central wire bundles exiting at the back between the seats, up and in front of the seats, out of the way for now.

Locate the 3 x thin red wires and the 2 x thin black wires coming from between the passenger seat and the central tunnel.

Fit these into the five holes in the junction box, part 54E, bending each one over on the rear to secure them.
Follow the picture showing the correct location of the wires.

Fit the junction box to the bulkhead, part 54A and secure it from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Fit the bulkhead to the floor behind the seats making sure any wires are located properly.
Fix the bulkhead in place with 4 x FP screws from underneath.

STAGE 54B:

The wires that were previously moved out of the way between the seats can now be put back.

Fit the cylinder to the base, parts 54B and 54D and fix them from underneath with 2 x AP screws.

Fit the two pipes, parts 54C and 54D in place on the base, part 54D.
They will only fit one way.
Fix them from beneath with 2 x AP screws.

Fit the assembly to the bulkhead and fix it in place with 2 x AP screws from underneath.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 55:

Locate the hatch and speaker, parts 55C and 55A.
Fit the speaker into the two lower holes on the left of the hatch and fix from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Fit the switch panel, part 55B into the other two holes in the hatch panel and fix from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Fit the hatch in place on the rear of the interior back bulkhead behind the passenger seat.
It will only fit one way.
Fix using 2 x BP screws.

Tilt the driver’s seat forwards and fit the other speaker, part 55A in place in the locating holes in the rear bulkhead and fix from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Peel the backing from the black adhesive sticker, part 55D and stick it over the two screws on the rear of the hatch panel, part 55C.
This is to prevent any possible short circuits when the electronic board is fitted.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 56A:

Circuit board.

Locate the circuit board, part 56A.

Fit the lead 56B marked ‘1’ into the matching socket on the board as shown in pic 1.

Pic 2 – fit the wires 56C, 56D and 56E, marked ‘2’ ‘3’ ‘4’ into the matching sockets on the board.

Pic 3 - fit the wire 56F, marked ‘7’ into the matching socket on the board.

Pic 4 - fit the wire 56G, marked ‘13’ into the matching socket on the board.

Pic 5 - fit the wires 56H, and 56I, marked ‘20’ ‘21’ into the matching sockets on the board.

STAGE 56B:

Pic 6 - Fit the circuit board, part 56A in place on the back of the rear interior bulkhead and fix in place using 4 x FP screws.
Make sure you fit the board the correct way up.

Pic 7 – Locate the yellow wire, 40J - ‘5’ that exits at the rear of the transmission tunnel and plug it into socket 5 on the board.

Pic 8 – Locate the brown and yellow wire, 45C - ‘18’ that exits at the rear of the transmission tunnel and plug it into socket 18 on the board.

Pic 9 - Locate the yellow and white wire, 45B - ‘17’ that exits at the rear of the transmission tunnel and plug it into socket 17 on the board.

Pic 10 - Locate the yellow and black wire, 42I - ‘14’ that exits at the rear of the transmission tunnel and plug it into socket 5 on the board.

Store the assembly safely for now.
