Issue 09

The Helmet and Chest Panel

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Retrieve the neck assembly from the previous issues, along with the middle neck connector and the two pegs, picture 2. Secure the middle neck connector to the neck assembly as you have done with the previous connectors by using the hex key to secure the connector and the two lugs using the D type screws that came with this issue, picture 3. Make sure you have the neck assembly the right way up when fitting the connector. The “T” hole should be facing upside down, also shown in picture 3. Note: Do not over tighten the screws. Once they have resistance and the stud is secure, do not tighten any more as you may de-thread the screw.

Fit the two neck studs as shown in picture 4.

Note: The magazine for some reason does not show the previous assembled connectors in place.

Find the chest panel and place the right bar into the two slots in the panel, pictures 5 and 6.

Finally, take the eye connector and place it in the mask as you did with the left eye connector, pictures 7 and 8.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 10

The Shoulders

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Place two of the shoulder connectors and fix them in place using 2 x type “A” screws provided, picture 2.

Take another one of the connectors and place it to the upper left hole in the shoulder, picture 3.

Finally, take the last connector, fitting it to the top right hole in the shoulder part. Picture 4 shows the placement of all the parts assembled.

Note: I have left the plastic protective cover on the shoulder part. This is to stop the part from getting scratched during storage.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 11

The Chest Panel

Take the chest panel you’ve been assembling, along with the circuit board, picture 1. Place it into the back of the panel and secure it with the type “H” screw, picture 2.

Take the two longer shoulder straps and attach them into the pegs on the top of the panel as shown in picture 3.

Now take the two chest belts and repeat the process by placing them in the two side pegs. Start with the right side and fit the other end of the strap into the loop on the shoulder strap as illustrated in picture 4. Repeat with the left strap, picture 5.

Position the rear cover of the chest panel and feed the cable through the central hole and then secure the cover with 4 x type “A” screws, picture 6.

Picture 7 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 13

The Chest Armour

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Fit the two internal chest armour connectors in the same way as you have done with the shoulder parts, pictures 2 and 3. Next, fit the two inner side holes as shown in pictures 4 and 5. Picture 6 shows the placement of the connectors when you’ve completed the assembly.

Take the right shoulder piece along with the chest armour you’ve just assembled. The shoulder piece should have (12.1) embedded on the inside of the part, picture 7. Retrieve the four rubber rings and connect each one to the connectors on both the shoulder and armour plate, anchoring the rings to each corresponding shoulder and armour connector, picture 8.

Note: Picture 8 also shows where the part number is for the shoulder piece.

Picture 9 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 14

The Helmet

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Retrieve the mask from the previous issues and the internal mask padding, picture 2. Before, peeling off the backing paper and fitting, I would recommend test fitting the padding part first so you can see how it fits inside. Peel off the backing paper of the padding and fit inside. It is quite tricky once the backing paper is off to position but start at the bottom and work your way to the top, picture 3.

Insert the left temple mask decoration 1, picture 4, then insert the temple mask decoration 2 into the first decoration. You may need a drop of glue to hold it in place, picture 5.

Next, add the first of left temple circuits, picture 6, followed by the other two, pictures 7 and 8.

Picture 9 shows the completed assembly for this issue.
