Have been working up to this with the Bluenose II (Billing Boats) and HMS Pickle (Caldercraft) really enjoyed both builds and I hope that this will not be the step too far as instructions and plans look daunting!

Welcome to the forum Hugo, good thing you have a few other builds under your belt before tackling this build, Billings don't tend to think too much about the novice builder...Look forward to seeing how you get on.. Cool

Welcome Hugo, I will be watching with interest firstly because I get my first Billing kit next Monday for My Birthday and secondly because I am secretly saving up for their HMS Warrior - but don't tell the missesSneaky Wink

Thanks for all the support, certainly find the difference between Billings and Caldecraft to be about chalk and cheese where it comes to the instructions, eg, the bulkheads in the instructions don't match up with the kit at all!Glare

HMS Warrior will be great, recently visited it at Portsmouth, on a rec. mission. hope to visit Greenwich soon.

So that later I can place the major deck fittings in the right place I have traced the deck from the plans and drawn on the relevant details. Have built the keel and frame with the deck dry fitted to ensure that is all lined up and going to fit after it is planked.

Has a slight bow in the keel, Which I hope will be sorted by the planking stage.

Have been working away, starting to put in masts, one at a time as really going in blind to any future problems.

Looking great Hugo, been a while since we heard anything on your progress but it's great to see it coming along so well... Cool Cool If you resize your pics to 600x450 pixels they will appear within your post rather than a download..

Hope to see more of your build real soon..

Regards

Alan
