Thanks for looking in and your comments both of you @ Dave, Zero paints tend to have a satin/semi-matt finish and they have always recommended the use of a clearcoat to bring out the true colour. There basic 2 pack clear coat was good but the Diamond clearcote is miles better for that deep shine. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All The rivets were added to the bonnet and then it was clear coated. the side strips of carpet were then added to to body along with the oil cooler at the front lower air scoop. Reattached the doors, bonnet and boot. Once all the above were done it was time to mount the body on the chassis. This done the tonneau cover pegs and plugs were added to the body along with the heater hoses on both sides that can just be seen in the first picture. Made up the main headlights and front indicators after first painting the indicators clear orange. Lastly I added the indicators. More soon. Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All More progress, the wheel rims have been clear coated along with the quick release nuts the valves added and fitted to the car. Added more stuff to the bonnet and boot along with the fuel filler cap and anti roll bar. Fitted the front headlights still need to add the front/rear fenders/lights and exhausts. The seats have been painted and the same covering used on the floor used to cover the backs, still need to make up the seat belts here. the last pics show the seats in place but not fitted. More soon. Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Andy very nice indeed. And that finish is mirror like - it reflects your camera tripod in one of the pictures. Do you have a nice display case to put this one in? as it would be a shame to leave it open to the "elements". Happy Modelling
