Looks like I'm going to have buy new swivel guns for mine now, also I might go with some carronades for the upperdeck. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor

Hi Matelot! Jotika/Caldercraft makes good looking British carronades. See Cornwall Model Boats site, Caldercraft Fittings, weaponry, carronade barrels. Matelot: In the Age of Sail, name given to the guy who shared your hammock (one for two men). Pierre, c'est mon matelot, Peter is my matelot. Etymology: old Dutch mattenoot, same meaning. Today: ordinary or able seaman on a merchant ship or a warship.

Alain, The attention to detail is amazing. When finished, it should be worthy to be on display in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor
