The mounting base of the figure was painted Light grey. I next painted the breast plate with darkstar bright steel. left it to dry and buffed it up with a cotton bud. The copper rivets where added around the breast plate and buffed up. Three coats of the British red Coat paint where used around the neck and waste of the figure and the white trim was painted using Tamiya flat white XF-2 Paint. The arm has been painted using three coats of French blue. The breast plate brass straps have been added using dark star brass painted, and buffed up using a cotton bud when dry. then black shadower was added between the links. The white belts where then painted In.i then glued the flag arm onto the body. The flag has had the spear head added painted brass and buffed up. The metal wire was twisted round a drill bit and attached to the flag, then the tassels where added. ian smith attached the following image(s): Current builds.Hachettes build the bismark,HMS Victory, HMS Hood.
