Hi, just a quick update. I am now up to date to the end of issue 10 (stage 40). I'm not getting as much modelling time as I'd like just now hence the lack of posts. So just a couple of pics to show progress. Graeme pemberg attached the following image(s):

The other wing looks suspicously like the outboard section from Hachettes Lancaster series.
The Zero build looks fantastic.

Thanks for the comments guys and yes the extra wing is from the hatchette lanc. It got mothballed when we moved house and I resurrected the build over Christmas as a fill-in while waiting for Zero and D51 parts.

very impressive indeed. I can see why there are a number of people wanting to sign up for this one seeing the quality from your pictures (which are very good by the way). A shame its no longer available but goes back to a point I made on an earlier post and that is you really cannot hold out to long with these kits or you could miss out. A very impressive build you have yourself there. Not sure if you have, or might be thinking about the alternative engine with sound effects but seem to recall a post from yesterday saying supply is now limited. Happy Modelling

Thanks for the positive comments Tony. I am sticking to the kit engine a I have just forked out for the torpedo room enhancement for the Hatchette U-96 and am currently researching (and buying materials for) a 1/128 HMS Hood based on the fleetscale hull which is just over 2m long as well as working on the D51 and Victory. There just aren't enough hours in a day (or money in the bank ) Graeme

Cheers Andy. Done everything I need to just now, awaiting next delivery. I haven't attached any of the aluminium panels to the right side as yet, I'm still deciding whether to use double sided tape as per the instructions or to glue them (not sure how durable the tape will be long term). I think I am probably going to glue them but am also still undecided as to whether I form the panels and paint them prior to fixing (and touch up any bits that need it) or whether to fix and paint in situe with all the problems of masking the open left side of the aircraft. Graeme Every time I look at this one I see even more detail I missed before. This would have been one of those kits I would have loved to go for having seen what you gave been able to do with it. Looks simply stunning. Happy Modelling
