Now for tha adding of the bow and the construction of the bow formers on the ply deck provided. I used the deck plate as a guide to get the bow in the correct position. Now i have a question about the instructions on the fitting of the bow deck. If you follow the instructions to get a straight line /edge on the hull planking from former 9 to 12 you are left with frames 10 and 11 that are below the line of the hull planking. My question is this ok or do you follow the line of the formers here, im thinking of when we come to glue this in position there will be a floating deck in this area [ only glued to the hull planking] and the adding of the forward flight deck supports in future.I might add fillets/spacers to this area but any comments on this would be welcome regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Now for the upper planking in the same area 'note this has been done on both sides'deviated a little from the official build so i had less gaps to fill and the plank next to the deck area has a higher profile than the 1mm asked for,just the metal parts supplied to do now pics will be added later, as always comments are apreciated Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All pack 6 arrived so carried on with the rear planking,Had to add packing strips aka Mr T,i deviated a little here as i had a good idea the stern former was warped. To fix this i made sure the 2 deck parts were exactlly the same length then glued theses in position,after that i cut 2 scrap pieces of wood to the correct length to brace the last former.As ussual all comments are welcome regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All finished off the upper hull planking,once its dry il remove the hull from the dry dock and compleat the lower planking.Still have a pile of planking strips [see pics] from the Akagi and Yamato builds, the yam strips are a little wider and thicker than the akagi but i might use these around the rear of the torpedo belt armour on the lower hull.As ussual all comments are welcome regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
