Hi Billbo,
Thank you for your interest in my build,at present I'm waiting for part 6 this is the issue that will be in a box (no broken parts)I have just received a e-mail saying 14 days delivery, where is that posted?
As promised a photo you have asked for to show the size of the wing,I know that each build is a bit different but this is mine.

1st picture shows total length from end to end around 18in.

2nd picture shows Carbon Tube fitted with pull tags.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Hi Andy,
Thank you for replying ,yes they are plastic ties I found them very strong and easy to fit but not easy to cut ended up with a small hacksaw.

My fuselage is in a clamped situation at the moment hoping it will be straight this time when it comes out.Confused

I have several issues to be getting on with now and was wondering where you got that great tubing from for inside the wings?

Hi Alan,
Good to hear from you your sovereign look's special very well built, as for the Spitfire yes it is big but a great kit to built, but I have a larger electric powered kit I made up some time ago, so this kit seems a bit small.

Jase,
Thanks for looking in, I find when you make the more fragile balsa builds you can break bits off which can cause a lot of frustration, I have just finished a Gloster Javelin (Balsa and tissue)point is this Spitfire build is a dream in comparison so as you say this is a builders kit.
Thanks
Trev

Hi All,
Today I received part 6 of the Spitfire build, this turned up a very wet brown box due to the weather today but no broken parts.
The only point I was wondering about was that when I opened it there were only 3 parts in the box, has any one else had the same or should there be 4 parts ?

Trev.

Hi Trev,BigGrin

Good to see the parts boxed, all be the box soggy Crying

At least they are in one piece,Cool

Would assume you should have four packs, but I`m not up to this stage so cannot confirm one way or the other.

One thing I have noticed though, the ribs still have the scrap inner bits in place. None of my ribs have had these bits still in place to date, so may be that stops the parts breaking as well.Confused

So with your itchy finger problem solved, it`s on with the next stage.

CAN`T WAIT.Cool

Having taken a closer look, you should have parts 24.
Looks like it`s a call to CS.Crying

Hi Trev,BigGrin

That looks funny to me, as all advertising says four parts per delivery.

It may only be three this time, but I would check your bill to see how many parts you are being charged for.
