Hi All, Many thanks for the positive comments and all who looked in. Still playing with all the seat and seat back coverings , so found another sub-assembly to get to grips with. So, this update shows the construction of the first undercarriage beam (two in total) and it`s associated parts. The main beam is made from three ply parts. The one with the cut outs placed in the middle to give the location holes for other parts. Near each end of the beam you fit top and bottom springs and the horizontal hub bar made from 1.5mm dia brass wire. The rivet for the beam are cut down brass pins. All of the above is shown in pic 1. Next the outer bearing plates for the axles are added. Shown in pic 2. Following on three parts are assembled to make each of the track cleaners. Shown in pic 3. At this point the instructions weren`t 100% clear. It says to slot the track cleaners into the beams, but there are no slots. You have to make them, guided by the pin heads. Result shown in pic 4. When each of the track cleaners are in place and fixed, each needs two pieces of brass wire fitted in front of the beam. Shown in pic 5. I now have to repeat all of the above for the second beam and give both a metalised paint job. So until the next update, HAPPY BUILDING. Nice update Derek. Those Occre instructions certainly do cause some head scratching at times. Happy Modelling

Coming along nicely.I sometimes wonder if the person writing OCCREs instructions had actaully ever built one of their kits because they are often inaccurate.

Many thanks for all the interest and kind comments it certainly helps me along with the repetative bits. Just a small update following on from the last. I`ve completed the second suspension bar. Pic 1 Put a bit of stain and paint on the drivers cab areas (more to do yet but that`s the start), one shown in Pic 2 Have made but not painted the drivers seats. These will be about the last thing fitted to the cabs. Pic 3 Having painted the passenger seat bases a few days ago, I`ve spent five minutes fixing them to the floor. Pic 4 That`s all up to date now, except for Pic 5 that shows how the tram floor comes together. Not glued yet as lots more to do before I get to that point. Happy building Regards delboy271155 (Derek) delboy271155 attached the following image(s): COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
