Incorrect del.
Trev you'll notice that my diary build for stages 17-23 only contains 7 stages of build rather than 8 and does not include Stage 24.
Reason being is that pack 06 only contains 3 sets of parts (21-23), which is because of the way the series rolls out.
The series content of 125 parts sets does not permit 4 packs of parts per despatch across 32 deliveries, therefore three of the despatches spread across the series will only contain 3 parts sets.
Otherwise it would have meant that your final despatch would have only contained 1 parts set, which I am sure you would not have been too pleased to wait a month for.
The packs which only have three parts sets as follows:
06 (stages 21-23), 23 (stages 88-90), 32 (stages 123-125).

Hi Mr T Thank you for the information on post (83),I am pleased you have made an awareness at this early stage of the contents of future boxed parts as this will as time goes on find that other Spitfire builders would have become very concerned. Hi Mr T, Thank you for your interest (post84)I do not won't to go on about the past problems we have had regarding broken parts, but looking on the positive side I have a feeling of on doubt that this is what we have been waiting for and I do agree with you that it is a huge improvement. On looking at the brown box it look's and feel's very strong, and with the new pack numbering it will make things easy to follow and with peace of mind with future posts. Thank you. Regards Trev. Well I have to say Trev, if that's the packaging from issue 6 onwards then fair play to De-Ag, it looks nice and solid, hopefully damages will be a thing of the past now. Andy

Hi all, Well Saturday I received part 6 in a very damp box although wet and falling apart nothing had damage so it just show's how strong the new type of packing work's. Back to the build today I have dry fitted some of the port wing very much the same as regards to the fitting just a bit of sanding/filing all was good, what I did notice rib 6 the slot should have been longer which I had to file out, point is (do not force down) as this will snap the main wing spar. Also in Mr T build log we are reminded about keeping the rib's equally apart in my build I made a spacer to fit top and bottom which I will use when fixing the first section of wing rib's. So I have a few pictures to show but this is only a dry fit as I do prefer to assemble in one go. There is a bit of a bow in the wing spar which I will build out. Centres removed from wing rib's. Spacers top and bottom. That's it for now. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

Hi Alan, Thank you for looking at my Spitfire I must say I am really enjoying this build and I find it a strong and well planed kit. I have been concentrating on the Victory over the last few weeks, so the Spitfire has had to wait, but I plan to lay out the port wing today and try to make some progress. Regards Trev. Hi Jase, Thanks for looking in on the build, I have dry assembled the Port side as much as possible I must say it all fell together with very little work (this is a good kit) just waiting for the next part to complete the wing, then I will post. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

I agree Trev, It is a nice kit but still challenging enough to be fun, especially when you start building on the framework. Looking forward to your progress. Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Hi All Seems to a long time since my last parts arrived hope they will be here this week. Today I have been working on the Port wing as you can see from the pictures this again is only a dry fit, I say only a dry fit, but it is most important to make sure all the ribs fit together and are strait before you glue. I found that everything went together fine the only adjustment I made was to open up the alignment on the first rib what I will say please be very patient and don't push to hard on assemble as this could cause you problems. Hope to post again soon. Regards Trev. First lay out all your wing rib to by sure they are in correct order and remove any burrs. Place rib 2 and check alignment dry fit. Carry on until the first section is complete. Test fit bottom spar this is the bit you take care with (no strain) There you go. This is the only time I had to make an adjustment just file that angle a bit. There you go. Hope this is off interest to you all don't forget to read Mr T build log. Regards Trev. Hi Trev, Collect the parts, dry fit then assemble. Brilliant advise, this kit is to easy to rush and would have all the inherent issues that rushing incur. I have received up to issue 6 and I`m more than ready to wait for some more deliveries. Love your methods Trev and will be watching with interest as always.
