Starting to come together now that the hangars are going on. You will soon be fitting the under flight deck girder castings in place the very first wooden one is stuck to the top of the bow hanger and the cast girders will stiffen it up nicely. Its the same for the last stern flight deck too lots of stiffener castings underneath. Its what you decide to do with the centre sections as there are some castings along the sides of these pieces that can be fitted after shaping as per the instructions and glued in place when the decks down if you do as I did with mine. There are nine upright girders to fit just behind the control tower where the three guns are at each side, on one side three that just butt against the hangar sides on the other there free standing except for one so prepare the under deck castings to take them. The metal side hangar gun platforms are harder than tungsten an you will need a bench grinder to shape them as are the main four bow flight deck supports, if the bow struts are shaped properly [squared off so they insert into the casting at the indicated position as in the instructions] they will fit into the castings and make a very strong joint. Another way to fit the side gun deck castings is to measure and mark exactly where they will fit then cut the hangar sides out and slide them into position this way also gives a stronger joint rather than the butt joint stuck straight on to the hangar walls. Hope this helps Andy PS The Bismark looks great too Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Phil Looking good Those carriers/ brackets on the lifts can be on the tight side when fitting them on the lift rails and may need some adjustment to get them to fit. The Grinder looks good too Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thank`s Chris yes Andy advised to get a Grinder because the metal is really tough It`s only a cheap one but i`m not going to be using it for anything heavy duty,i think COMING SOON =1/72 Italeri diorama`s Battle for the Reichstag and Stalingrad battle at the tractor factory 1/16 Trumpeter King Tiger with loads of extras ON THE GO= refurbishment of 1/25 Tamiya tiger 1 , amt Star trek kits and space 1999 models
