That really is a stunning looking build you have yourself there. Nice to see as well as builders of this one seem to be short on build diaries so it's been interesting following yours. Happy Modelling

Thanks for the comments guys Now started the rat lines . These can make or break the shrouds if they are not put on right. I have seen some on a model on the TV that looked like they had been put on with chopsticks I started putting the first ones on with a half hitch but they looked to big for the scale so onto plan 2 . The thread is first tied to the first shroud with a over hand knot then you just wrap the thread around the next one making sure not to pull it out of line. Lock the knot with some watered down PVA then do the next one . Once you get to the last one lock it off with another over hand knot and apply some more PVA to stop it coming undone I'm doing about 6 rows at a time before my eyes fall out rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ? Martyn That looks extremely complex adding all those ratlines but you are doing a fantastic job. I would imagine its quite heavy on the hands and arms while working on this part of the build. Look forward to your next updates. Happy Modelling

Hi Martyn, That's a stunning build Martyn, I can see by your work that you are proud of your build, I think that when you first look at a build, and one that you are interested in you don't no where to look first but your ratlines are spot on, well done Martyn. Regards Trev Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

Martyn Very nice job on all the rigging. Complex but well executed and looks great. 2mm blocks should test your patience but will look a whole lot more in scale. Were have you managed to get yours from? Happy Modelling
