Thus is looking great, fantastic job.
Would nail polish remover work to remove superglue?

Dan A very professional build you gave yourself there. Very jive job on the panel line shading. On such a large model kit really does make a big difference you the model. Sorry to hear about your cyno canopy. Had a quick look to see if there is any detail out there on this sort of issue. The following maybe of use to you. http://www.modelflying.c...s/postings.asp?th=69942

I see Mr T has already advised micro mesh which is a good choice but if you do not have this might be an idea to try a mild toothpaste as mentioned in the above links. Hope you manage to get a good result. Happy Modelling

Hi Dan, That's a good looking build Dan, I can clearly see that this will be among the top builds on model-space. Dan have you airbrushed the tail section ?. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

thanks for the comments & suggestions everyone. Trev, the tails section has been clear coated and is essentially finished, just a wash left to to (maybe). well little by little she's slowly coming together, main section base coated and decals added! slight problem with the leading edge "yellow" decal so decided to remove it and will paint it on. need to cut the cowling they way i want then give it a coat of paint & sort out my canopy issues. dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4. Working - Mclaren M23 1/8th scale to complement the Deagostini MP4/23 & Mp4/4 on the bench, Model Airways Sopwith Camel.

well made a little bit more progress although its been 1 step forward and 3 steps back lately i clear coated the front section and played around with a wash, wash looks good although the photo's make it look really bad on the front section for some reason! maybe due to the problem mentioned below! I assembled the 2 sections together & noticed that they were 2 completely different colours (first 3 photos)not sure why as i mixed the paint and made sure i had plenty to effectively paint the plane twice. Anyway i had to blend the 2 sections together which seemed to come out much better, luckily as i decided to go the half skinned route i still had a spare decal for the tail section "rising sun", clear coated it all again and hoped for the best! luckily she came out good. i also cut the cowling down as i wanted to keep the lower air scoop but also show the engine. also started the repairs to the canopy, managed to get most of the glue picked & sanded off using a sharp knife and micro mesh, but i must say thank god for alclad aqua gloss! the stuff is like magic and made the canopy look almost new again. one happy chappy regards Dan dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4. well i think she's pretty much finished, im liking the look without too much weathering, besides ive never done any weathering before so i think ill stop whilst im still ahead so to speak! may do a few touch ups once ive read up a little more about chipping etc. she's been a great model to build, challenging at times for my limited skills, however she has taut me a great deal, i must admit though i would relish another kit similar to her, maybe one day we will have the P51 Mustang from Deagostini, my Fingers & toes are crossed, HINT HINT. so here are a few photos regards Dan dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4.
