Excellent job as always, Ade. The light show in the cockpit looks great. You have definitely made a showpiece to be proud of. What will you do when this is all done? Stephen Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

Well done Ade, looks brilliant, the cockpit looks stunning with or all lit up. You are now way ahead of my build, but looks fantastic and nice to see it almost complete. Keep up the good work Ade. Mark Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin

Wow - that looks absolutly brilliant. Totally love your take on a display cabinet - really suits the model. Yours takes nothing away from the model but still looks modern and smart. Looking forward to seeing how you finish up the remaining issues to your build. Happy Modelling

G'day ade, been following your excellent build ( amongst others ), before we got our mitts on this in oz. I'm in Perth,W.A...and we're currently on issue #23. Anyhoo, just wanted to say thanks to all you guys over there for explaining/advising, and being generally gracious with your help and experience ( re; pitfalls/caution 'beware' situations on this project ). Just quickly, did you notice on your #134 post, 2nd pic , that the 'headlight' resembles a heart?, goes to show people are really loving/appreciating this lady. Cheers. Ged.

Seeing how you are going to display this, I assume the ramp won't be used right? Why not tie into or replace the boarding ramp light for the light strip? I don't know how many volts are coming off it but it might be worth looking into seeing as it too is a light strip as well. Good job so far!

And then it occurred to someone to cut out the walls between the two sections and run the strips so they meet in the middle without a gap!

I was kinda planning on doing just that, bringing the 2 strips together in the middle, and then adding a couple extra lights at the ends.

Just cut the walls off where the two halves meet and bring the leds closer together. Shouldn't have to add any more lights at all, but I would suggest painting those recessed areas where the lights stick onto white to reflect the light more evenly. Looking good so far my friend!

hi all.....so ive been doing some modifications to the engine grille...Much as I like the glow when they are lit the look of the plastic is less than impressive as you can see in pic 1. So I decided to get out the plasticard and fabricate an engine grille that adds an extra bit of detailing to the rear ....also replaced the diffuser with another one without the transfer on it....let me know your thoughts... cheers ade adriuus attached the following image(s):
