Hi all just thought give anyone who is building this kit a few pointers on the metal walk ways and gun platforms etc ,if you follow the instructions you`ll build up the platforms etc as you go along,but i have not gone down this route has you have to modify them to fit the hangers and superstructure ,and i thought with all the detail added they can easily get damaged while you get them to fit Cool

this way you can handle them no worries and then add the detail when you ready BigGrin

Hi Phil

The bow walkways around the hanger and in fact all the thin ones will need to be shaped to fit onto the places they are fitted. The wider platforms can be shaped also but I found it easyer to cut slots into the hanger sides and insert the platforms into the slots, it will also involve trimming back the braces on the bottoms of the platforms doing it this way also gives more strength to the joints rather than a butt joint. Also the rear most left platform which I think comes with the first pack is replaced in the last pack with one that is a more correct shape so dont do much to that platform.

So i`ve made some hawser`s like Andy made( thankyou Andy)for the anchor`s

still some work to do on these ..........

then put more walk ways and pravane and gun platforms on the starboard side
