I'll take one. Seriously. What's the material? Name a price if you've already got building it worked out.

This is awesome. Maybe they should let the builders(us) have something to do with the whole build process. Tamiya 1/32 P-51D, Revell 1/32 Bf 109G-6 x2 1/32 P-51B, 1/32 Trumpeter Bf109K-4, 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109E, Testors 1/32 F-117, RMF 1/35 Tiger 1

Very interesting idea there Ade... doesn't look bad at all. I was thinking about a variation on that same idea to give the engines a bit more of a functional look. I like the way you think my friend! :)

Thanks all for your comments .... if anyone else is thinking of having a crack at doing the grille then use the removable panel ( which will have the six exhaust vents on it ) as a template to get the curve... there are many different artist impressions of how the grille has been envisaged... i just went with what i liked... got some ice blue window film on the way to give the new diffuser strip a hint of colour too ...

I like your grill, especially when it's lit. One thing I would love to be able to do is add the flicker to lights as seen on screen at times.

a few pics of the airlock and side panels in place and lit up ....used a 1m m length of fibre optic tapped into the red warning lights to create the two little lights on the airlock...(not exactly in the right place but the ramp is in the position they should be in ). also coloured the replacement engine diffuser by airbrushing blue/green glass paints on...the idea I had of using the blue film looked pants !!!(the pic shows the supplied grille first then my redone effort) issue 95 contained some very weedy plastic "bolts" to be used for fixing the back engine panel on...as you can see they aren't going to last five minutes !!so I found some m3 hex head bolts on the bay ...ten for £1.30...much better and stronger methinks....god alone knows why they supply plastic ones !!!! adriuus attached the following image(s):

Looking great Ade. Looking at yours, the side panels just finishes it off nicely. Great work.

been working on the landing legs this time.....wanted to have the gear doors open as the kit parts don't include these....so its out with the plasticard and guitar strings !!! I will be changing the display of the falcon from flight mode to landed as the mood takes me so I wanted to be able to have both options available.... it is a bit of a shame that the remote in issue 100 doesn't allow individual lighting to be turned on and off...so I think when she is displayed in landed mode I will unplug the sublight led's from the board. issue 98 this week.....its nearly over....just waiting for issue 1 of the delorean to appear in the next couple of weeks...as I was an early subscriber I get first few issues free....get in !!!! cheers all ade adriuus attached the following image(s):

Ged 👍🏼 Cheers all... there are'nt that many pictures of the "real" landing gear to be found so all i did was use the kit part closed doors as a guide and thought what would they look like in half..... did consider rebuying the issues containing the covers and dremel them to bits ... but expense and need to keep fingers made me think twice

Thanks for your insight Ade . Just found a video on YouTube called ' finfito ' , not sure if you've heard of it. ( by computer graphics artist ' Stinson ' ) . Anyhoo , it's pretty amazing stuff and his modelling of the landing bay doors ( open ) , shows that you ended up pretty close to the mark !! , well done 👍🏼

Outstanding work, adriuus! The love that's gone into the construction and painting is very evident: it's a real tour de force of streaks, burns and blasts. Look forward to more pics as we head into the closing phases. I've enjoyed your whole build - you've set a high standard for the rest of us!
