stevegbr wrote:looks very interesting your build, how are finding it? Hi Steve. It has been a VERY difficult build at times...as I have completed one whole arm...just to find that the servo in the elbow joint is not working and I have had to strip down 2 hours work and start again!! I had the same problem with one of the legs and the neck servo where Robi tilts his head forward. Many many hours have gone into this...and I am a very patient person, but the frustration built up at times, but it is surprising how much patience you have when you don't think you have the resolve. I am nearly on the home straight now...so I feel it has all been worth it!! Thanks for looking in!! Chris.

Good to see this coming along
Be mindful of how the wires are routed as a few builders have found them pulling loose from the end socket as a result of becoming taught during his movemnent cycle.

Hi Tomick I have found this out already! I twisted the head around more than 90 degrees...and forgot if I turned Robi's head left or right...so I twisted 360 degrees. The result was a non functioning neck servo When I took the neck off again..they were all twisted around each other!! I reset the connectors...and now everything seems fine. Fingers crossed!! Thanks for looking in!! Chris.

Thanks guys!! I had a little wobble with the full body test. Robi's Neck and Hip Servo were not moving...so I checked the back Servo and everything seemed ok, but I reconnected the two servo cables again anyway...and hey presto, everything is now working fine!! I am not sure what I did...but it was on a wing and a prayer Everything works great now!!! Thanks for loooking in guys, very much appreciated!! Chris.
