OK gentlemen. I just received my first shipment of the Falcon. I am going to build this OOB with maybe a tiny bit of paint. Hope these pics come through.

Mine arrived yesterday. Very impressed with the 2 day ship time. Does anyone know where to buy a few sheets of the brass etched sci-fi decking. I saw someone use this on their cockpit floor and it looked outstanding.I was only able to find one dealer online and they are sold out. Having a hard time with adding a photo so I attached a link.

I haven't seen the PE decking but I know there's some 3D printed decking that looks perfect for this on Shapeways.

I finally got started on my Falcon after I received my second shipment. There is some outer framing and hull parts, and the cockpit, and some of the hold area are also started in these issues. I have already seen some unbelievable builds on here, and I have no where near the talent of most of them, but I will do some of my own painting and weathering if I think it is necessary.
The first four issues came with parts for the cockpit and the quad laser cannon.

I did some detail painting in the cockpit to enhance some of the less detailed parts.

Magazines 4-8 had the passage tube that holds the cockpit, and a lot of the hold bay.

I have seen some amazing scratch builds on the hold bay from you all on here, but I wanted to do a little something to enhance the look. I used some dry brushing and used some Tamiya weathering powder to do the floor.I highlighted the storage gates in silver and black to give them a more 3 D look.

It also came with the magazine holder as well.

Hey everybody. I just finished up working on stage 3, issues 9-12 this week. There is a lot of framework on this one as well as some greebles for the outside compartment and inner hold. I added some spare parts I had stashed away to add something to the one side wall. I think the next 4 issues will finish up the interior.

Still got a bunch more issues before the interior is done. Wait til you get the corridors. All those little pads will drive you bonkers! :)

I really like all the added pieces to the passenger/cargo area. If there is anything I add to this thing it will probably be some barrels/parts to hold. Maybe I'll get some shape ways pieces for there... Looking great!

Hey Everybody,

I got issues 13-16 last week. This gives you everything to finish the hold plus the start of the corridors, and some more frame work. I was able to finish up the hold. The navigation seat, C3P0, and R2D2 were all from Shapeways. They were all hand painted. All the kitbash parts were from the Pilgrim Explorer model kit. All comments are appreciated.
