Hi. Just wondering.. I am building Sanfrancisco II and have had to guess where to put the rubbing stakes. i have checked and they are 5mm too low. Should i remove and re do or does it look ok. First pic is my ship, second is how it should be. On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

hi, don't know if you corrected rubbers? but i can see where you've gone awry. the rubbers follow the line of the gunport, just above and just below, you can use the down strakes that have the slots in it as a guide good luck. Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Thanks for reply karl, I decided to leave it alone here is my build. I was low on planks so was easier to leave alone. I dont think it stands out on the build now. http://forum.model-space...t.aspx?g=posts&t=100On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

As they say "A blind man would be glad to see it". It will probably only be you who will ever know, Magpie. That was until you put it on here of course. It looks like a very neat build. The wood looks superb quality and well fitted. I only wish my Beagle was as good.
