Thanks for the great comments guys After a mammoth session of rigging it's all complete Next job painting the carvings . The larger of them were done first and fitted into place the smaller ones were first painted with primer and then painted in crazy colours that this ship is famous for . The only problem I had was getting them off the sprue as the stuff they have used to mould them is one step down from armoured steel so had to get the dremel out with a cutting disk a small touch up and then I fitted them to the beak More painting to come as the rest of the carvings need fitting to the stern till then thanks for following Rgd Martyn File Attachment(s): Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ? She really is looking great, Martyn. Love all those decorative figures. They must have been fun to paint.. Rigging looks to be quite the task, but the results are well worth the effort. Stephen Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

Hi Walter it was a bit of luck really the sails went quite stiff after I dyed them in tea and after I fitted them I lifted the lower edge with the bunt and clewlines and then pushed the sail out with my fingers to look like they have caught the wind Thank you for the great comments and to all who have looked in Rgd Martyn Building ? Hi Tony thanks for looking in m8 The rigging is a bit of a pick and mix from lots of different sources as the rigging plan from Corel is a bit sparse as it doesn't include rigging the sails and the new Vasa book hasn't been released yet which is a bit of a pain Thanks again for the bril comments Rgd Martyn Building ?
