Hi All Well she's about 99.9% finished the flags still have to be added and the replacement decals are on the way. The rigging is almost done just the flag lanyards to add, I hope that you like what iv done with one of the aircraft I just thought it would add a little more spice, I have to admit its not my idea I got it out of a Yamato model book I have. Anyway hope you like her regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Andy She is a credit to you stunning result and love the added animation with the crane. Interesting debate around blast bags also... Common practice in most navies was white bags for show and dark bags for war. Royal Navy used grey. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Hi Andy! I surely understand and agree your opinion. The Yamato was alive like a person and had several life stages. I have reconfirmed that the Yamato is mysterious. Your Yamato seems almost entering the goal! Especially a Pete hanging in midair is very cute! Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi Yaturo Thanks for looking in and your comments, the Pete as you say gives a different angle and im glad you like it. The debate on the Yamato will go on forever I think especialy as any crew members who survived the sinking who could clarify things are getting fewer and fewer as time catches up with them. The etch railings have made a big difference in my opinion aswell regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

An exceptional build Andy, one of your best so far!! I love the added touch of the seaplane, very cool indeed!!
I hope you don't mind me saying Andy but I have watched your skills and standard of workmanship increase quite a bit since I first started watching your builds and its great to see the passion that you have for this marvellous hobby!!
Well done mate, keep it up and if your Yamato is anything to go by then I can't wait to see you start on your Bismarck, which I look forward to with great anticipation!!

Hi SMM Thank you for your kind words and comments , as for improving as I went along I guess your right as the Yamato was my 1st foray back into the world of modelling for over 10 years so I guess you could say I had a long rest and iv remembered stuff and learned stuff from being a member on here as I built her. As for the Bismark I think mine and wilfy's will be last to be finished on here as I intend to do the hull mods so she's the correct shape. Again thanks for your comments regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Andy! Your Antenna wires work are very fine! I am waiting for your next step. By the way, I wonder what kind of decals are included in the UK kit. In Japan, DeAGOSTINI Japan provided us strange kind of the decal. They were too soft that I could not attach them on the hull. I lost every depth gauge decals and had to make original decals by my self then. I attach URL of website where I wrote the episode on. http://homepage2.nifty.com/yhonma/omake.htm#o11

Hi Yaturo I think we had the same decals here 3 of mine self destructed as yours did, I have more on order , I found it strange that the stern name decals were not provided aswell. Thank you for your comments on the arial's I used bead makers and fishing line to achieve this regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
