I have been researching if you can add a heated bed to the printer. the driver board seems to be a ramps 1.4 bed which has headers for the heater pad and thermistor. as repetier host has the options to run the bed. is there any software changes needed for the arduino chip to access it?

Unknown as the kit has not been designed to accommodate such.
