I ordered the McLaren MP4/23 | Full Kit. Today I received Pack 1 ONLY. Also once I opened the outside box the inside box had some crush damage to one of corners. I opened the inner box and one of the packages had some crush damage to the edge. There was this sticky substance on most of the packs. It was on the assembly manual also. I got it all over my fingers. I must say that for a model of this cost this is totally unacceptable. It does not bode well for the rest of the packs (which I assumed I would get all at once) as I paid for the full kit.

Well here it is, a couple of weeks later. DeAgostini did send me a replacement for the damaged Pack 1 (Yeah)! But that is all I have received. No other packs. Three weeks and 1 Pack. I ordered and paid for the Full Kit. What kind of business takes this long to ship items that a customer has paid for?

The sticky substanse is usually due to the parts being removed from the larger retail packaging for newsagents. It always happen with issues 1 and 2 of each series. It happened to me in every collection. Unacceptable of course.
The biggest problem is that you have received only pack 1 when you have ordered and paid for a full kit... It looks like a huge mistake with the order which should be resolved ASAP. Did you called them again to mention this problem?
I don't want to be pessimistic but I see the last months a big plunge on the quality of the service from Modelspace. I have subscribed to 7 different models and never had any problem. But I hear multiple complaints from other customers last months and the forum has an "abandoned" feeling.

I have emailed and been on the phone with DeAgostini. To their credit they did replace pack 1, but that is all I have received. I am looking forward to assembly of the model, but who knows when that will be?
