Here some pictures from during the build about how to paint a figure the simple way as I learned it many years ago from a modeller who had won some prices at the old Euromilitair expositions in Folkstone / UK.
Uniform is painted with self mixed colours based on Revell Aqua. The face and hands are painted with normal skin colour from Revell and then it is completley painted with Artist Oil Paint - burned Sienna.

After the oil color has dried a little bit, it is almost completely wiped away with a flat brush and a blunt round brush. Burned Sienna remains so far only in wells and in itself it has changed slightly the color of the Revell skin color.

With oil paint highlights in the face and on the hands are highlighted with lighter tones ... so for example the fingers of the hand, the ankles or in the face the chin tip, the bridge of the nose etc. ...

Then the figure is finished and ready painted, etc. ... where the uniform with oil paint and dry brushing also gets an "aging", etc.
