Step 7 The ribs, there is a small line burnt into the wood, from what I can make out you have to sand these down to the line.  Step 8-9 Start to build the transom.  Step 10 add more supports. Worked out a way to install the frames and the spacers at the same time.  I added a small wedge, so each time I added a frame I removed some of the wedge, so keeping pressure on the ribs while the glue set.  My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -

Step 14 was to install the second from last rib, Step 15 instructed you to remove the unit from the cradle and install the final rib but I added that while it was still in the cradle. Step 16-17 had you install a piece of planking to the inside, I finally worked out that this was only temporally there to hols the rims together while you sand it all down   My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -

Ohhhhhh, I dunno.... Sure! Also, a woodworking trick for you; if you brush a bit of acetone on the laser char, the acetone breaks down the carbon, and makes it super easy to remove.

Thanks for the info on the acetone. But I sometimes prefer to leave the burn marks, it helps me when sanding down. Once the burn marks are gone I should be ok for the shape.
